Form drawing:
Form 7:
Start with a circle. Next mark eight points evenly spaced around the circle. Then draw an octagon from the dots you've (lightly) marked. Now, mark the center point and grow eight lines reaching out to the corners of your hexagon.
Now that your form is drawn, we need to colour it in, you'll need your coloured pencils. Start at the corners, colouring in straight lines all in the same direction, pushing harder with your pencil, then softer as you grow closer to the center. You will need three different colours.
Spelling:
Thursday: Categorise into parts of speech - nouns (naming words), verbs (doing words), adjectives (describing words), preposition (used before a noun eg: at, in, on), adverb (describes the verb), conjunction (joins words eg: and, because), pronoun (replaces a name eg: she, he, they). Use a dictionary if stuck.

Get outside and get moving, how far do you think you could run? I know my fitness has decreased since the gym closed and I would like to start improving my running. I was hoping that we could be running every day at school practicing for cross country, but with teaching from a distance I really haven't been keeping up at all. Hopefully you are doing better than me.
Look at the wonderful form drawings you sent me yesterday!
And this lovely card for our local New World St Martins from Sian.
Sian wrote on the inside,
To the Manager of St Martins New World
Thank you for keeping the supermarket full of food during lockdown and keeping your staff safe. It is really appreciated.
They are going to love receiving your card Sian, it'll be sure to brighten their days 😄
