Phoebe has been busy helping her dad make stop motion videos, she has made some herself too, check it out.
Isn't she clever! How did she make it? Want to find out? See this video she made for you
Wow, Phoebe, that is so cool!
Hawick has explained a little behind the scenes information for us,
In addition to what Phoebe is showing in the video, you’ll need some way of stitching the photographs together to make the movie.
You need at least 16 images or frames for every second of video for smooth motion.
One option is to use Stop Motion Studio, which I’ve been using with my Motion Design students from Ara while we’ve been in lockdown. You can get Stop Motion Studio for iPhones, iPads and Android phones. There’s also an app for Windows and for Mac, though I haven’t looked at those versions myself, so I don’t know how they work.
Here’s the link to Stop Motion Studio:
They have a great guide for using the app on their website, which is worth reading before starting the process.
“What? Read the instruction manual?”
Another option for people with Windows is to use the Windows Photos app that comes with Windows 10.
You may be able to do the same thing with the equivalent app on a Mac.
Thank you Phoebe and Hawick for sharing your creative work with us, I've absolutely loved it, and I'm sure the rest of Class 5 will too 💛
