Today as well as spelling, math and reading, you have orchestra, writing and handwork.
Also, check out the pages on the right hand side of the screen. There's a great craft idea from Janice, a note from Ash about sports and ideas for exercising at home, a list of competitions you can enter and two videos from Simone!
Spelling:
Your task today is to find words within your spelling words, how many can you find for each word? For example, in Door, I can find do, and or. That's the first one done for you!
Now it's your turn to find the words within the following words. The brackets show the number of words I found within them, can you find more than me?
Everyone (3)
Friend (1)
Heard (2)

Daily Math:
Well done to everyone who attempted the math question yesterday. The people who got it correct were Hans, Ari (even though it skedaddled his brain). I do apologise for how difficult that was, it's tricky without having class conversations and all of us working together. Hopefully today's is easier/achievable at home.
- Sums and differences:
A) Find two numbers that add to 50 and subtract to 12.
B) Find two numbers that add to 50 and subtract to 36.
C) Find two numbers that add to 89 and subtract to 15.
Easier option:
A) Find two numbers that add to 24 and subtract to 14.
B) Find two numbers that add to 24 and subtract to 2.
C) Find two numbers that add to 53 and subtract to 13.
Reading:
Keep up your reading, I've seen some very full reading logs and wonderful mini book reviews, great work!
Orchestra:
Practice your instrument, maybe you could call a friend and practice playing together?
Writing:
ANZAC day is on April 25th (public holiday observed on Monday 27th). It is the day for remembering the fallen of all wars, but specifically it commemorates the day Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZACs) landed at Gallipoli in 1915.
Due to the Lockdown, this will be the first year in history that people cannot gather for Gallipoli ANZAC day Services. No matter how you acknowledge and commemorate ANZAC day in your bubble in 2020, thank you for ensuring that "We will remember them".
Today I'd like you to watch/listen to the story ANZAC Ted, then write a story about your own teddy and an adventure it has been on. (camp, a walk, sitting watching the world go by in your window?)
Handwork:
How did you get on, on Monday practicing the Māori patterns?
Your task today is to use some of those symbols to draw a design to represent your family connections.
Your design will need to fit inside a feather shape, there is a template below with the shape and size your feathers will be.
Look at what your creative classmates did yesterday
Haere rā e hoa, goodbye friends, see you tomorrow for more fun in our treehouse.
